You just got more for your $7.99/month. Sure, my application server isn’t working yet, but I’ve got a ticket in about it. And I continue to have higher uptime on my account than many of the local providers that charge hundreds a month for rack space.
With my new ISP, I could host out of my house, but for $7.99/month why bother with the security hassles?
