Tired of lazy service from your cable company? I was. No NFL Network, no Big Ten Network, and poor boxes and software.
I switched to U-Verse (AT&T) and really like it. Pricing is in the range of cable with 3 boxes in the house ($5 per add). The internet speeds are good, you can remotely program your DVR, and soon you’ll be able to watch programs from the DVR on any other box in the house.
Anyway, it feels good to kick cable to the curb, after years of them sitting on a monopoly. Ironic, as AT&T had one of those once…

I cut the cord a few weeks ago and downgraded to just internet. I’ll probably have to go back when football starts but for now my torrents will do me just fine.
