In my opinion, the writers strike has left a trace of garbage amongst the new episodes of some of my favorite shows.\u00a0 Specifically, the serial dramas stuffed with symbolism and mystery.<\/p>\n
Since when did the writers of Lost think it was a good idea to drop in an A-Team episode?\u00a0 The only difference between the shootout with the Losties and an episode in which B.A. drinks milk to get on a plane is that some anonymous 815 people got whacked.\u00a0 I think we need to keep a death toll somewhere to make sure they don’t exceed the manifest.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, in BSG land, this season is off to a thud of a start.\u00a0 There are virtually no characters left to like.\u00a0 I like complex flawed characters, but some of the suspense is gone if you quit caring if any of the characters make it.\u00a0 And the religous attack scene in Friday’s Escape Velocity had some of the worst acting I’ve seen on the show.\u00a0 The attackers looked as authentic as barbarians on the original Star Trek (the show was great, but you can’t brag about the costumes).<\/p>\n
So there, I said it.\u00a0 Step up your game writers.\u00a0 Or else the world will continue to revolve around American Idol and 24.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
